This vacuum disc filter is designed to be used for dehydration in iron ore concentrate, silver mine and non-ferrous metal concentrade, also suitable forcoal washing, nonmetallic mine, chemical industry, environmental protection and so on.

Working Principle of vacuum disc filter

When the vacuum disc filter working, the filter disc circles clockwise in the slurry tank. With the help of different pressure generated by vacuum pump, the particles are absorbed on the cloth of the disc and forming a filter cake with a certain thickness. Mixer rotation prevent solids’ precipitation at the same time. When the cake leaves from the liquid surface of slurry tank, the dehydration is going on, also with the help of vacuum pump.

At last, through the filter cake and cloth, filtrate will discharge from the central shaft pipe, and the filter cake will fall down under the pressure of the scraper and blower in the discharging tank .
