Vertical cutting dryeris a screen type drill cuttings dryers, adaptable to any feed style (i.e. pump, auger, or vacuum.) To date the unit doesn't have a realized maximum capacity.
Vertical Cutting Dryeris designed to reduce and recover base fluid from a variety of feed slurries. During drilling operations, the Vertical Cutting Dryer has proven to reduce oil content to less than 3%, by weight. Vertical Cutting Dryer high capacity design is well suited for virtually all drilling conditions. There are no vibrating screens or other consumables, so the Vertical Cutting Dryer is extremely cost effective. The recovered liquid is typically processed with a decanting centrifuge for additional polishing.

OurVertical Cutting Dryerdramatically reduce the drill solids waste discharge and maximise recovery of non-aqueous drilling fluids. They are screen type cuttings dryers, capable of receiving cuttings from a CT unit, auger or Vacuum System and treating between 25 and 60 tonnes of drill cuttings per hour depending on the model.
Design Enhancements
Vertical cutting dryerwas developed with the help and recommendations of our customers. Through their applications of our technology, the following design modifications were implemented:
1.Reduction of external body size yet retaining use of the same internal wear components with the exception of the launder.
2.Redesign of the launder to facilitate better air flow.
3.ncrease access door dimensions for easier access and cleaning.
4.Relocation of lubrication system for better protection of external components.
5.Redesign of the effluent for better flow from the machine.
6.Enhanced watershield design to include upper access doors for visual inspection capability of the screen, basket, and effluent area.
Maintenance
