In process of designing and fabrication, we have take fully consideration of the requirement that the cylinder will be filled with Ultra-high purity liquid ammonia. The inside surface of cylinder have been treated by process of polishing, phosphating, heat treatment as well as ultra-cleaning. We have the independent -innovated technology to ensure the surface quality of cylinders.

The purity of ammonia filled in cylinder can reach 99.9999%~99.99999% (6N~7N).

Process of fabrication

• Girth welding

• Inner wall pretreatment (after twice mechanical polishing, the roughness value Ra of inner surface can be ensured under 0.8µm )

Polishing completed

Measurement of roughness

• Inspection of welding ( Nondestructive examination )

• Heat treatment

• Hydraulic test

Each cylinder shall be examined by hydraulic test, testing pressure: 4.5 Mpa and holding for 30 minutes

• Treatment of inner wall

• Water resistance measurement

• Drying treatment

Dew point measurement

• Shot blasting & painting
