A Triple Roll Mill is needed for homogenization of the soap mixture Brit Soap offers high precision Roll Mills to permit the soap manufacturer to adjust the structure of the crystalline soap particles so that the soap feels creamy and smooth to the human skin. They are massively constructed machines fitted with precision ground rollers capable of making the soap perfectly homogenous and completely incorporating colours, perfumes, additives and fillers into the soap mass. Three turned and ground large diameter rolls are mounted in a solid steel fabricated framework with a motor/gear drive system. The rolls are horizontally mounted side to side, and adjacent rolls are mounted at a shallow angle front to back. Homogenizing takes place in the adjustable gap of the rolls rotating with different velocities. The gap of the upper and the lower roll is adjustable by hand by means of cams. Cooling water is fed to each roll separately via regulating valves which enable individual roll water flow control. Roll temperature indication is standard on each roll. The rolls all rotate at slightly different speeds and this exerts a shearing action on the soap mass. The rollers are driven by a large electric motor through massive spur gears. An automatic oil distribution system ensures the gears are continually lubricated during operation. A stainless steel and plastic feed hopper and exit high carbon steel scraper blade (with special crimping device) is fitted. Triple Roll Mills can also be offered with SS Rolls, upon request.
