Air tray dryers are conventional type drying equipment used for removing moisture or solvent from the wet mass of product by recirculation of atmospheric air which is taken from the atmosphere, air is sucked by suction blower / fan , passed through filters to ensure removal of foriegn particles and heated by steam / thermic fluid / electric heater to desired temperature , the product is put on trays which are loaded in a trolley and placed inside a double walled insulated chamber which is provided with a fan driven by suitable motor, the filtered air is heated and recirculated to get the desired results.

The dryers are manufactured either in Mild Steel or Stainless steel material, the Mild steel dryer are as per Non Gmp standards with angle frame structure electric arc spot welded, inside and outside surfaces are painted. The stainless steel dryers are as per GMP standards with inside and outside surfaces fully welded by argon arc process, joints are grinded to smooth finish and mirror polished to fine grit from inside and matt finish from outside. Stainless steel grade can be 316 / 316 L / 304 or other, motors & electricals are standard or Flame Proof as per requirement. Size of Trays is generally 800 mm x 400 mm x 30 mm or as per customers requirement. Control panel is with R,Y, B indicator, digital temperature controller cum indicator, push buttons, timer etc. For safety chamber is provided with explosion vent, door limit switch so that in case door is accidentally opened during operation system is shut off and other safety precautions as per standards of operation. The dryers can also be with separated Air Handling units with fine air filtration, dehumdification systems, PLC operated fully automatic panels etc.
