Spiral Classifier

This machine is one of the most widely used mechanical classifying equipment, which is mainly used to grade the granules in the ore pulp during the technological process of metal or e washing and selecting. And it is also used to deslime and dehydrate in the ore washing work.

There are mainly four kinds of classifiers: high weir single helix and double helix, the sinking single-helix and sinking double-helix spiral.

The working principle:

Spiral classifier’s working principles is: solid particles have different sizes and different proportion, thus the settling velocity of them in liquids are different, the fine mineral particles floating in the water and overflow out, the crude ore particles settled on the bottom. Be screwed to the upper part and discharged. It’s a kind of mechanical equipment doing the primary classification. It’s able to grind the material inside the mill to powder and filter it, then use the screw piece to screwing coarse material into the mill feed mouth, at last discharge the filtered fine material from the overflow pipe. The machine’s base was base channel, the body is welded together with steel plates. The head of screw shaft, shaft head use cast iron sleeve as raw material. It’s hard wearing and durable. The lifting equipment has two types: electric and manual.
