Summary:

Disc balling machine, also called granulator or disc pelletizer, is used to make powder into ball shape, widely applied in cement industry, iron and steel industry and chemical fertilizer industry.

With flexible transmission device, the motor drive the reducer to make the disc rotate. While add water or binding agent to the input material, the input material will be pelletized or prilled under the force of gravity, friction, binding power and centrifugal force.

Main Application:

The Disc Pelletizer is mainly used in prilling and pelleting for coal powder, cement, clinker, limestone, shale and clay.

This disc granulator is not only suitable for pelleting in cement industry, iron and steel industry , petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and building industry, but also in fertilizer industry.

For the customers that require small granule and large capacity, we don’t suggest using large diameter disc pelletizer , because the larger diameter of the disc pelletizer , the slower of the speed , and which makes the size of the granule bigger. So if our customer’s need large capacity and small size of the granule ,we suggest using more than one small diameter pelletizers , so that can meet the requirement of capacity.

How to choose the suitable pelletizer:

The size must upon the capacity of the kiln, the formula is :

Q=1.5D2

H=(0.16~0.2)D

Expression:Q(T\H)--capacity of the granule per hour;D(m)-diameter of the pelletizer;H(m)- Disc flange height.

It is suitable that the disc flange height is 0.16 to 0.2 times than the diameter of the disc. Because these design can decrease the slant angle of the disc, it will increase disc working surface and enhance the quality for pelletizing.
