Film Fills are the most efficient fills for counterflow cooling towers. The usage of film fills not only reduces the foot print area of the tower but also reduces the height requirement. This results in the saving of cooling tower costs but also reduces pumping costs over the life of the tower.

The unique continuous forming process employed by COOLDECK ensures uniform thickness across the fill sheet. The forming depth also provides wide gluing points facilitating site gluing. The fill has been designed to achieve high surface area within the given volume and yet offer minimum resistance of airflow. Folded edges provide load bearing strength to the fills.

PVC COOLFill CD-19 sheets provide a surface area of 158 m2/m3 and can be supplied in any lengths as per customer requirement. We recommend the fill length to be between 1200-mm and 1800-mm as optimal from the point of view of minimal supports as well as handling of the fill modules at site. The fill sheets are available in widths (installed height) of 300-mm and 600-mm. The multi-layer fill configuration allows replacement of a smaller volume of fills during maintenance.
