A complete production line suitable for producing Stone honeycomb panels.

A complete production line for producing light weight stone honeycomb / verneer panels with use of marble, granite or quartz. Stone honeycomb panels are composite wall panels made up of a thin natural stone veneer reinforced with a honeycomb backing. The stone veneer can be almost any stone including concrete, composite materials, granite, marble, limestone, slate and sandstone.

On the production line there are several processes carried out, like sawing, milling, bounding and polishing. All these processes are fully automatic. It can start from making slabs to polished packed end product.

Maveco produces all the necessary machinery for the production of stone honeycomb. Van Voorden machinery supplied several complete production lines, for example in Dallas USA and Iwaki Shi Japan.

The Stone Honeycomb production lines can produce in optimum conditions the following quantities per year*:

marble up to 160.000 m2
granite class 1 low quartz 60.000 / 90.000 m2
granite class 3 high quartz 35.000/ 60.000 m2
The maximum panel size is 3000 x 1500 mm with a thickness of approximately 24 mm(depends on what kind of material)
