I. sand filter Description

Iron and manganese are common in groundwater supplies used by many small water systems. Exceeding the suggested maximum contaminant levels (MCL) usually results in discolored water, laundry, and plumbing fixtures. This, in turn, results in consumer complaints and a general dissatisfaction with the water utility.

II.sand filter Principle

Iron and Manganese Removal Unit utilizes the oxidation method to oxidize the low valence iron ion and manganese ion to high valence ions which will be removed by absorption and filtration so as to achieve the purpose of to reduce iron and manganese content in water.
