Equipment composition

The whole set of solid state high frequency contact type tube welder are made up of switchgear rectifying cabinet, inverter output cabinet, connecting optical fiber, circulated soft water cooling system, central operator console, 3-D positioning table, output arm and contact head.

1. Switchgear rectifying cabinet

Designed with integration of switchgear cabinet and rectifying part, besides achieving switchgear cabinet functions, it also has rectifying control functions of solid state high frequency contact type tube welder.

2. Inverter output cabinet

The inverter part is made of MOSFET single-phase inverter bridges connected in CFI. The power of single-phase bridge is 60kW/120kW.

3. Connecting optical fiber

The switch rectifying cabinet and the inverter output cabinet are connected with optical fiber, so as to avoid high frequency signal disturb. It helps to make more reliability of equipment.

4. Circulated soft water cooling system

Air-water cooling equipment or water-water cooling equipment is adopted. And recycling soft water is used as cooling water with temperature and water level indicator.

5. Central operator console

It provides switch-on/off of the solid state HF welder, power adjustment, as well as PLC system and LCD (liquid crystal displayer).

6. 3-D positioning table

The 3-D positioning table is used for the installation of inverter output cabinet and online adjustment of the contact head. With the adoption of 3-D electromotion drive mechanism and turbine screw rod drive, to drive the motor 3-D inching control, which to make contact head up and down can be achieved swiftly.

7. Output arm and contact head

Movements like up and down of contact head can be achieved by system, with the cylinder pneumatic operation it makes close contact with the contact head and steel pipe which guarantees a reliable welding of steel pipe.
