Introduction of rotary kiln:

The rotary kilnrefers to the rotation calcining kiln (known as rotary kiln), belonging to the construction equipment, which can be divided intocement kiln, metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kilnaccording to different materials.The rotary kiln is featured by simple structure, reliable operation, and easy control in production process etc.

Application of rotary kiln:

The rotary kilnis mainly used for heating and calcining various mineral materials in metallurgy, construction, and ores etc, such as ceramsite sand, bauxite, limestone, cement, metal magnesium, alumina, hydroxide alumina, flyash , high aluminum refractory materials etc .

♦Cement kilnis mainly used for calcining cement clinker, includingdry and wet-processing cement kiln.

♦Metallurgy chemical kilnis mainly used forlean iron oremagnetized roasting in steel plants of metallurgical industry,chromium and nickel iron oreoxidizing roasting,bauxiteroasting in refractory plants,chamotte and aluminum hydroxideroasting in aluminium factory, and chrome oreroasting in chemical plant.

♦Lime kiln(i.e. active lime kiln) is used for roastingactive lime and light burned dolomitefor steel plants and ferroalloy works.

Operating principle of rotary kiln:

The rotary kilnworking process is made up of gas flow, fuel burning, heat transfer, and material movement etc.

The rotary kilnis to make the fuel fully burning, the heat from which can be effectively pass to materials, so that material can produce series of physical and chemical changes after receiving the heat, finally forming finished product chamotte.

Structures of rotary kiln:

The rotary kilnis composed ofcylinder, supporting device, supporting device with catch wheel, transmission device, active kiln head, sealing device, burning device and feeding device and kiln head combustion equipmentetc.

The rotary kilnis a circular cylinder, which is obliquely installed on several pairs of tugs. After the motor decelerating, the cylinder revolves around by the small gear driving big gear.

Compared with the same specification of equipment, the operation rate increases by 10%, the yield increases by 5%-10%, and the heat consumption decreases by 15%.
