Type:Fluid Bed Drying Equipment | Place of Origin:Japan | Brand Name:Slurry Dryer | Model Number:SFD |
The slurry or liquid materials are supplied into the process chamber of a dryer and stick onto the fluidizing ceramic medium balls in a thin layer. The materials are instantly dried by convection heat from hot air and conduction heat from medim balls and recovered in a dust collector from exhaust air. The dried products become fine powders close to their primary sizes since they collide with medium balls. The thermal volumetric coefficient of this dryer is similar to that of a ordinary fluid bed dryer and therefore the dryer size can become very compact; 1/10 to 1/30 the size of a spray dryer.
Tye typical applcations of the Slurry Dryer are; Condenser materials, barium titanate, nickel hydroxide, glass powders, zirconium, carbon silicate, etc.
