Silicon carbide (SiC )heating element is a type of non-metal high temperature heating device. These SiC products are made from fine quality green silicon carbide as its main raw material. The raw material is made first in to a blank, silided under high temperature and re-crystallized.

Notes for using and installing the heater
a)Heater should be protected against damp during storing or installing to ensure the performance of the heater.
b)In order to be sure of well-distributed load of each and groups heater should be divided before assembling.
The tolerance of the resistance of each one can not exceed by 10% each other.
c)Heater is hard and brittle, please be careful when assembling and maintaining so as to avoid damage.
d)When operating the electric furnace at the beginning, the voltage should be increased slowly and can not be fully loaded at once. Otherwise the larger current will be resulted in the damage of heater.
e)When heater is damaged and need to be changed , the resistance of new heater should follow the increasing resistance. If many are damaged or resistance increased too much, all the heater should be changed.
