Sheet hydroforming uses a die and high pressure water to drive the blank sheet into the die, then form the desired shape.

Tube hydroforming uses two die halves to ramp the water inside the tube to get maximum internal pressure suddently. Then the tube will be expanded into the die and get the shape required.

Traditional stamping process is to stamp two part halves and welding them together. Compared with traditional metal stamped and welded parts, hydroformed parts are light weight, lower cost, higher strength, design flexibitity. High quality finishing surface. Also will save labor, tools and materials.
