APPLICATION:

1.Vacuum decarburization furnace(VD) can be used in dealing with molten steel in vacuum degassing and adjust alloying constituent and stir argon in the vacuum.

2. Vacuum oxygen decarburization furnace is blowing oxygen in the vacuum, decarburization, vacuum degassing, alloying constituent adjustment in the vacuum, which is used in refining higher nucleation rate steel, extra-low-carbon stainless steel and electrical pure iron and others .

Basic Construction:

• VD furnace can be arranged in single set and double- station arrangment.
• Vacuum vessel be arranged either overhead or pit layout sytle.

Components of Equipment:

The VD furnace consist of

• vacuum container,
  
• vacuum container cover and container lifting mechanism,
  
• steel ladle,
  
• oxygen lancing mechanism,
  
• vacuum charging device,
• temperature sampling and mointoring system,
  
• oxygen system& argon system,
  
• water-cooling system and vacuum pump system.
