Features and application of Thickener:

In the course of wet mineral selecting, concentrated mine which has large quantities of moisture needed to dewater. And the middlings also need dewater during the selecting in order to improve the concentration of the feeding material in the next phase and the effect of the selecting. The main functions of layer concentrator in selecting are dewatering and concentrating.

Application:

Thickener is mainly used for concentrating of fine and tailings pulp. its structure is simple ,torsion is large, standardization level is high. Adopting intelligent control, can test the running resistance random , adjust the running state. It can realize stepless speed control (hydraulic or inverter), in order to adapt to ore pulp works are of different concentration and proportion .Kefan Heavy Industry developed efficient thickener ,sludge thickener, drum thickener, multi-function extraction thickener ,are widely used in metallurgy, mining, chemical, ceramics, coal and other industries.

Working principle :

This thickener consists of round thickener and harrow scrapping machine, the solid particles suspend in thickener settling by gravity, the pulp in the upper turn into clean water, so that the separation can be realized. Slime that sediment in the bottom of the thickener is discharged by the harrow scrapping continuously, and clean overflow from the upside.
