Applications

Rip Stop Belt is a new type of Conveyor belt with greatly improved pierce resistance as well as resistance to lenghwise fissures. Because the canvas carcass is inside and a newly developed cover rubber with anti-cut construction is used, it exhibits optimum performance in lines where foreign objects such as sharp materials and iron scraps may be mixed in with the transported materials.

Types of Reinforcement Layers

1. Steel cord
2. Aramid

Features

1. The nylon carcass is layered widthwise under the surface, so resistance to lengthwise fissures is greatly increased.
2. A very pliable reinforcement layer is used, giving it excellent troughability.
3. The steel cord/Aramid runs widthwise, so it is extremely flexible in the lengthwise direction. This also allows for smaller pulleys to be used, and the pulley diameter is the same as that of a general nylon belt.
4. Since the belt adopts a unique anti-cut, large-mass cover rubber developed, it has superior wear resistance, weather resistance, and durability.
5. Manufacturing of endless belts is simple.
