Introduction:

Drying is important for the proper preparation of materials prior to their briquetting. To make good quality briquettes with high density, it is very important to control the moisture content of raw material to 8-12% before loading the them into briquette machine, so sawdust and other kinds of biomass need to be dried first.

Requirement of the raw material:

1 For using material of two or more types, It should be mixed in suitable form.

2 the feed material should be even

3 the Diameter is less than 3mm; Length, 5mm

4 moisture could be 20-60%

Final moisture of the sawdust:

After drying, the moisture can get 8-12%, which it suitable for making wood pellet and wood briquette. Ideal for removal of moisture from free flowing materials which is light and small like sawdust, rice shell, milled stalks etc

Sawdust dryer models:

We have two type of the dryer (1. hot airflow type dryer) and ( rotary drum dryer)

For the first type, it can be reduces the moisture from 20-50% to 8-12% with the advantages of lower cost consumption and high efficiency, and it have lower price, suitable for the raw material which have lower moisture

Structure and working principle:

This kind of dryer suitable for drying materials like sawdust, rice hull, milling wheat straw, corn stalks and so on. The moisture of wet materials is at 20-50%. The wood dryer is equipped one fuel boiler, inlet, steel pipe, exhaust blower (fan), cyclone. Wet materials are input into the hopper. The fuel boiler generates hot air which mixes with wet materials and then is sucked into the pipes by the exhaust blower (fan) quickly. And then hot air is flowing and going though the curving pipes and buffer (drying chamber) of dryer, thus wet materials is finished to dry, and the dried materials are expelled out by the exhaust blower (fan).
