Application range of raymond mill

Raymond mill (Raymond roller mill) is applicable to the grinding and processing of more than 280 kinds of non-flammable and non-explosive materials with hardness less than 7 and humidity less than 6% in mining, construction, chemical industry and metallurgy, such asbarite, calcite, feldspar, talcum, marble, limestone, clay, glass. The fineness of the finished product can be adjusted from100 meshes to 325 meshesaccording to requirements. It is the main and widely used grinding machine.

Working principle of the Raymond mill
The Raymond mill can crush the large-size materials to the required feeding size and then will deliver the materials to the storehouse by the dustpan lift, then to the crushing cavity of the main machine body by the electromagnetism vibrating feeder. And the materials which have entered the grinding cavity will receive the grinding between the grinding roller and ring, thus producing the powder, which will be brought to the analyzer to grade by the wind machine. And the required fine powder will enter the large cyclone collector by the air stream to receive the separation and collection. And at last, the final products will be discharged out by the tripper. And during the working process, the shovel system has played a key important role, which is positioned on the lower end of the grinding roller. And the shovel and roller will shovel up the materials to the space between the grinding rollers and form the pad layer which will receive the extruding force produced by the rotating of the rollers. And then the materials will be crushed, thus achieving the aim of the powder making.

How to maintain and protect of Raymond mill?

1. To operate the equipment, you have to be technically trained to know the principle and rules of operation. Someone should be specially selected and put in charge of the operation.
2. To ensure normal operation of the equipment, a manual containing strict rules and procedures for its operation, maintenance and repair should be well prepared and followed. Tools, replacement parts for maintaining, repairing and lubricating oil and grease must be available for immediate use.
3. After a period of usage, the equipment should be checked, worn-and-torn parts such as rollers, rings and shovels be replaced. Be sure to fasten connecting-bolts and nut collars to fix rollers properly. Be sure to lubricate the parts sufficiently.
4. Roller should be replaced after 500-hour use. Check and wash bearings in it and replace broken ones, and then fill enough oil and grease (with oil-pump or grease-gun).
