Power & Free Conveyor Design

Power & Free conveyors are twin-rail systems

using a power chain to haul the carriers. The

power chain is equipped with evenly spaced

rigid dogs, which latch onto the movable cam

on the trolley to form an interlocking

connection.

Stops and contact skids allow the carriers to

be automatically stopped, closely buffered

and automatically released as required.

Carrier spacing and moving speeds are

variable and can be set independently for

each individual chain circuit.

If needed, P & F conveyors can also be

equipped with destination controls, which

also provide solutions to complicated distribution,

sorting and special task problems.
