(1) Grinders

The BTON-200 Button Bit Grinder is a high powered tool for worn button bit sharpening. It is configured for hand-held use by ergonomic placement of a very efficient throttle and support handle. Simplicity in design combined with the latest manufacturing techniques gives the operator a powerful tool for the most demanding job.

BTON 200 hand-held grinding machines have quickly established themselves as dependable and versatile machines, credited by the professionals and CE approved.

Our Air Grinders require a clean and dry air supply of a minimum 80 psi and 29 cfm passing through an in-line oiler to supply lubrication to the grinder. Also, a supply of water from a mains supply or a sump is required to act as a coolant during the grinding process.

A full spares back-up service is also available.

The BTON-200 grinder can work with 4 kinds of grinding cups together to get better grinding effect just by replace the coupling chuck.

(2) DiamondGrinding Cups

BESTLINK supplies you 4 kinds of grinding cup for your various need.

Details as below:

• Wing (shoulder) drive grinding cup for, with a 8mm diameter shaft(shank) and one O-ring. Suitable for Atlas Copco LSD machines, Jasco, Dorey and KING PIN grinding machine.
• San drive grinding cup, with a 9mm diameter shaft(shank), suitable for all SANDVIK grinding machines.
• 55 drive grinding cup is for all Atlas grinding machines.

The grinding cups sizes are ranged from 6mm to 25mm; a special size is on clients request.

STANDARD AIR / WATER WAYS ON GRINDING CUPS

1).Single-water way is suitable for all insert shapes and all types of grinding machines.

2). The 3-water ways are standard on all grinding cups larger than 14mm. Gives a better redressing result, longer life of the grinding cup.

(3) Bit support box with recycling water pump

To reach a better grinding effect, BESTLINK also supplies the clients a very useful tool with 2 functions: the first one is fasten the drill bit, the other one is provide a recycling water cooling system.

When and how to regrind a button bit?

Below is shown the reduction in drilling penetration rate, in average hard formations, compared to the size of the worn flat on the insert. When insert has a flat 1/2 of the size of the diameter, more than 50% penetration is lost.-The drill bit is over drilled and will have a reduced life.

When regrinding the hard metal insert, the grinding cup should be oscillated in an orbital motion.

For hemi-spherical inserts, oscillate the grinding cup in all orbital motion from 6° to 20°.When regrinding ballistic inserts, the oscillated must be reduced to between 3° to 5°.

SAFETY RULES

a). Always use correct size of grinding cups.

b). Always use water flush together with grinding cups.

c). Make sure the drill bit is securely fasten during grinding.

d). Before grinding, check carefully that there ayre no reminds of explosives in the bit flush holes.

e). Always use goggles, protective gloves and boots and hearing protections during grinding.
