Introduction:

Porous ceramic filtering mediais made of tiny particles through very complicated technological process in which this kind of particle can be put in shape according to a specific size and proportion , and then sintered in a kiln to be hard ceramic materials with porous and rough surface . its main ingredients are SiO₂,Al₂O₃, and Fe₂O₃ect, compared with arenaceous quartz filter, it has developed voidage and large specific surface area.

Porous ceramic filtering media is spherical particles features with more micropore, high strength, long service life, corrosion resistance, good adsorption capability, appropriate density,and not easy being agglomeration ,which is the ideal filter can replace those traditional filters such as the arenaceous quartz , anthracite, walnut shell filter ect.

Product Features:

(1) the initial hydraulic head loss of filtering layer is small, and filtration cycle is long ; the terminal hydraulic head loss is small, which can save certain amount of filter.

(2) with good feculence interception capability, usually in the the speed of 10-11kg/cm³, about 1.2 to 1.3 times to arenaceous quartz (7.8-9 kg/cm³).

(3) with spherical surface which is easy to keep clean, and small backwash water that 30% -40% less than arenaceous quartzis .

(4) ceramic filter material is hight hardness, high strength, small attrition rate , life expectancy is 10 times more than the arenaceous quartz.
