1Components ofgypsum dryer

All the equipments of gypsum dryer consist of belt conveyor or elevator, chute, feeder, drum, heating furnace, motor, reducer, draft fan, dust catcher, electricity distribution cabinet.

2Process flow ofgypsum dryer

As gypsum is sticky, gypsum dryer is divided into several section for higher efficiency.

A. Transmission section. Wet gypsum enters this section, then gets full contact with hot air, moisture inside gets vapourized. With lifting boards elevate and scatter materials repeatedly, wet gypsum is conveyed to next section.

B. Cleaning section. When materials fall down, they are easy to stick on the inner wall of the cylinder. During this process, cleaning device breaks the clumps. This spreads the surface area of heat exchange and improves heat efficiency.

C. Lifting boards section. Wet gypsum gets loose and of low moisture content that meet the requirement.

D. Discharging section. No lifting boards in this area. Materials roll to the outlet. The whole drying process is completed.
