There are two types of non-welded single bow-spring casing centralizer: One is the standard centalizer, also called the non-welded braided single bow-spring centralizer. It measures up to API 10D. The other is the rivet single bow-spring cenralizer.
Structure principle: The bow-spring casing centralizer consists of circular hoops, single bow-springs and pins. A certain kind of centralizer is composed of certain bow springs accordingly. The material of bow spring complies with API standard and trade standard after thermal treatment. There are two connection methods of bow-springs and circular hoops. One is normal braided type, and measures up to international standard. The other is the type of connecting the bow-springs with the circular hoops by pins to prevent circular hoops and bow-springs fromloosing under the high pressure in casings.
Installation:
1. Being installed on the casing couplings directly.
2. Set between the casing couplings, can move freely.
3. Being fixed on the middle of the casing by mounting ring.
Put the pinhole openings on the casing centralizer’s circular hoops upwards and latch the casing centralizer on the casing,insert upper pin and bottom pin into corresponding pinholes,then bend lock pins down to prevent pins from dropping out.Run it down into the well after a thorough check.
