Beneficiation refers to concentrating the mineral content of ore by ore-dressing, smelting and pelletizing. Beneficiation
usually takes place close to the site of an ore body prior to its transportation to a manufacturing region; it is carried out
in Liberia, for example, to save transport costs on Liberian iron ore.
Beneficiation include treatment of raw material (such as pulverized ore) to improve physical or chemical properties in
preparation for further processing. Beneficiation techniques include washing, sizing of particulates, and concentration
(which involves the separation of valuable minerals from the other raw materials received from a grinding mill). In large
-scale operations, various distinguishing properties of the minerals to be separated (e.g., magnetism, wettability,
density) are exploited to concentrate the desirable components. Beneficiation is also used in the ceramics and clay
industries.

Ore grade 31.88%,Concentrate grade 64.21%,Tailings grade of 9.62%,82.13% of the metal recovery.The magnetite concentrator adopted another way---By optimizing the process structure, transformation (or Update) devices and other measures to strengthen the magnetic separation - the fine screen regrinding process raise iron content and reduce silicon and achieved satisfactory results.
The third election workshop technological innovation include:Secondary ball mill overflow type changed by the lattice-type,Grinding media by Φ 60mm steel ball to Φ35mm × 45mm round bar;The first and second stage of fine fine sieve screen changed to the high-frequency screen;after three sections drier, plus a magnetic separation job;Grinding and classification circuit implementation of automatic control.

In order to provide the basis to magnetic separation plant transformation,In the magnetic separator workshop conducted industrial test,its main improvements:Secondary grader to the dynamic pressure of the cyclone, with a high-frequency vibration sieve instead of fine nylon sieve;Increase in paragraph 5 of the magnetic separation operations and multi-pole magnetic separator.Industrial test to obtained a better index-Concentrate grade of 67.44%.
