The machine is designed for grinding cylindrical or conical external surface with accuracy of IT5 and IT6. It is most suitable for tools or repair workshop in small batch production.

The longitudinal travel of worktable is controlled steplessly by hydraulic system or by handwheel. The infeed of wheelhead is carried out by hydraulic automatic periodic feed and also by handwheel. The rapid approach and withdrawal of wheelhead, retracting of tailstock center, lubrication of slideway and leadscrew are all hydraulically controlled.
