Brief introduction of rotary dryer

Rotary drier is widely used for drying materials in industries like cement, mine, building materials, chemistry, etc. This rotary drying machine comes with thermocouples on the feeding and discharging device to control the temperature. Thermometers are also adopted so as to better control the working temperature (generally 350-380°, less than 750 ° ) of the rotary drier. The moisture can be up tp less than 1-0.5%.

Components of rotary dryer

Working Principle of Sand Dryer, Three Drum Rotary Dryer:

1. Material from the feeding device into the inner rotary drum and achieve downstream drying.

2. Material is stired up and down by the inner shovelling plate, spiral marching to achieve heat exchange.

3. Material moves to the end of the inner layer into the middle, get counter-current drying.

4. Material is constantly stired in middle, two steps forward one step back approach.

5. In the middle, the material fully absorb the inner drum heat, and the middle drum heat, while extending the drying time, the material achieve the best dry condition here.

6. The material move to the end of the middle into the outer layer, and it marching in rectangular multi-loop method.

7. The material achieveing the drying effect get out of the drum fast under the action of hot wind, the wet material can't rapaidly moving due to the weight. So it can get enough drying in this rectangular shovelling plate, thus achieve the drying purpose.
