This is a compelte line which makes nylon belting or sheet used as high tensile layer in power transmission rubber belting.

First nylon pellets are pre-dried and fed in the single screw Extruder which melts and pumps the molten material through the T die to produce single layer flat, thick sheet which is cooled in-line and wound on rolls. Next, the sheet rolls are shifted to the set of Orienting (Pulling) Rollers which are hydraulically adjusted and stretch the sheet between the rollers and an orienting oven which heats the sheet for softening. The heated sheet is stretched considerably and the "draw down" results in less thickness but increase in length of product, with greater stiffness and higher tensile strength than the thicker sheet produced on extruder. This oriented sheet having tensile strength in excess of 30000psi and is very much suitable for sandwich layer (tensile layer) for rubber belting for power transmission.

The oriented sheet width is 320-520mm. After orientation the sheet can be cut with circular knife to get width of 30mm, 80mm, 160mm, etc. as per requirements.

Extruder screw size is 65mm and throughput is 50 Kg/h.
