1. Introduction of equipment

Spin flash dryer (SFD) is a direct-heated dryer using hot gas as drying medium. Material is fed into drying chamber through screw feeder or slurry pump, hot air flow into drying chamber from the bottom and spin upward, which produces strong centrifugal and shear force. Large blocks are dispersed by disintegrator, and then entrained with drying gas. Moisture is vaporized in the process of hot air transportation. Due to strong disturbance of gas, heat and mass transfer is intensified between gas and solid.
