Brief Process Flow Description
Brief Technical Process Description
KNO3 production process can be realized by NH4NO3 and KCL in a special reactor continuous iron exchanger. The actual reaction is: KCL+ NH4NO3→ KNO3+NH4CI
There are two kinds of the generation matters. One of them is KNO3, another one is NH4CL. As their crystallization temperature is different, to separate those in different temperature can be realized.
During the cooling and crystallization process, the KNO3 will be generated due to its higher crystallization temperature, then be filtered, dried, and packed.
After separation of KNO3, the temperature in the cooling and crystallization tank is down, the NH4Cl in the solution will be crystallized, then filtered, dried and packed.
The solution left in the NH4CL cooling and crystalizlation tank will be pumped into reactor in case of the lower concentration of reacted materials, otherwise, to be treated and discharged (~5M3/h).
6. Controlling System
The control system is constituted of DCS control system, on-site sensor actuator and relevant software. All the detection sensors, such as temperature, level, flow are transmitted to the main engine by special cable, to fulfill information collection. DCS main engineer in the Central Control Room issue a command, which is then transmitted to the actuator, to carry out the function of control.

8.Scope of Supply
This Contractor shall be for supply complete set of KNO3 production equipment, tanking system, Utilities, lab equipment and devices, and related services based on EPC except civil works. The Scope of the Works from the CONTRACTOR under this offer is listed as following:
To Supply complete set of KNO3 production equipments,
To Supply complete lab equipment and device.
To Supply the power distribution system, water distribution, steam distribution system, plant air distribution system and control system inside ISBL,
To Supply complete installation materials for above-mentioned equipments, including pipe-line, pipe rack, operation steel platform, valve, fittings, painting for equipments, etc., supplied by the CONTRACTOR inside ISBL.
To Supply all Utilities;
To Supply the civil works, including process buildings, warehouses, office buildings, water pool for raw water storage, workshop buildings, spare parts room, lab and control room, concrete roads inside the plant,etc.
To supply installation, commissionin, start-up and operation training.
To Supply following technology design documents:
- Production workshop layout drawings;
- Technical process Design description;
- PFD / P&ID for production plants;
- Equipment arrangement drawings;
- Equipment list;
- Piping arrangement drawings;
- Electrical and Instrumentation arrangement drawings;
- Design for the utility facility;
- Design conditions for the employer to supply with the equipment foundation, civil and structurals;
- Equipment assembly drawings for non-standard equipments;
