Shipping:

The shipping packaging shall be suitable for the intended standard means of transportation and must be adap-ted as appropriate to any change of shipping method.

For example, if sea freight applies as the standard shipping method for a component, but for delivery date rea-sons relating to the order the item is being shipped by air freight, the shipping packaging must be adapted to

the change in requirements.

The various infrastructures in the countries of dispatch and delivery must be taken into consideration, for exa-mple: manual handling of goods, poor roads, high levels of traffic (stop and go) etc. Furthermore, all current c-ustoms and safety conditions in the country of delivery must be adhered to.
