This plant operates on a low pressure cycle, which produce pure oxygen and nitrogen from air by cryogenic rectification. The feed air is liquified by the refrigeration produced and then rectified on the basis of the different boiling points between liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen. As a result, oxygen at a purity of over 99.6% and nitrogen at a purity of over 99.99%. If necessary, the plant can also produce liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen partially by means of modified operation.
