Iron Ore Spiral Classifier

Spiral classifier is widely used to range and distribute the mineral sands during the closed-circuit circulation formed with roll mill in dressing plant , classifying the mineral sand or fine silt in gravity mill, making a ore pulp size grinding in the dressing course, disliming and dehydrating in the dressing work. Simple structure, reliable operation and convenient operation, etc. are its features.

Spiral classifier, one of the beneficiation equipment, which classifies the ore materials mechanically. The theory is “the precipitation speed is different for the different specific gravity.” It can filter the material powder from the grinding machine, then put coarse material to the feeder of grinding machine by the spiral slice of flight and discharge the filtered fine material from the overflow pipe.

The spiral classifier is made up of transmission device, spiral, cell body, elevator mechanism, lower bearing (bearing bush) and row ore valve

There are two kinds of spiral classifier: single spiral classifier and double spiral classifier. And it can be made the following two types according to the depth of helical blade entering the spill wag chute:

1. High weir spiral classifier: the top of spiral blade at the overflow end is higher than the overflow and the centre of spiral is lower than the overflow. It is used to classify the stone whose overflow granularity range is 0.83-0.15mm.
2. Sunk spiral classifier: the spiral blade immerses the overflow totally, which is suitable for the 0.15-0.07mm stone.
