Magnetic Separators are designed to recover ferromagnetic materials.The Magnetic Separators are available in cyclic design with process vessel diameters smaller than 3mm. Magnetic Separator is one kind of efficient equipment for processing fine, feebly magnetic minerals, such as hematite, limonite, wolfram, ilmenite, and tantalum-niobium, etc. In recent years, it is also applied in purifying quartz, feldspar and nephline.
Magnetic system of wet magnetic separator is made of Ferrite Material and Rare earth magnets , our factory locates in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China where is rich of Rare earth. The ore grade can be improved the grade with 10%-30% after the separation of our magnetic separator.
Operation Principle:
Slurry flows through the tank to tank mine. Under the action of the mine water in the pipe ,mineral particles get into the tank in loose state of mine. The role of the magnetic field magnetic separator is that: magnetic mineral particles occur together to form magnetic "magnetic group" or "flux", "magnetic group" or "flux" in the pulp by the magnetic effect, to pole movement, which was adsorbed on the cylinder. As the magnetic polarity along the cylinder rotation is alternately arranged, and fixed at work,when"magnetic group" or "flux" rotate with the cylinder, due to alternating magnetic poles arising from the phenomenon of magnetic stirring, gangue and other non-magnetic minerals mixed In the "magnetic group" or "flux" fall off in the turning.
At the end , "Magnetic group" or "magnetic Lotus" sucked in the cylinder surface is concentrate. Concentrate with the magnetic cylinder get to the edge of the weakest of the magnetic system.Under the function of flushing water it is unloaded into the concentrate tank. If it is the whole magnetic roller, unloading ore is carried out by brush roll. Non-magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals are left in the pulp and then discharge the slurry , which is tailings.
Classification:
The model for uniflow magnetic separator is: CTS, for relux is: CTN, for semi-countercurrent is: CTB. The difference are as bellowing:
CTS: high capacity, used for coarse particle selecting. But when the feeding quantity is big, the magnetic ore will be easily brought to the tailings.
CTN: for the fine particle selecting, high recovery, but the ore grade is low cuz the coarse particle is easily blocked the separating space.
CTB: high recovery, high ore grade, and it’s not easily blocked. So this kind of magnetic separator is widely used.
