Class A is used for finishing ,class B is used for hobs with a grinding allowance of 0.30~0.40mm

Spline Hobs are manufactured as per Standard and as per Specific requirements of the customer for Straight Sided Splines and Involute Splines. Spline Hobs in class 'A', 'AA', 'B' Ground profile and class 'C' Machine Relieved profiles with following features

Type 1- applied to spline shaft centered according to major dia.

Type 2- applied to lugged spline shaft centered according to major dia.

Type 3- applied to spline shaft centered according to major dia. And with bottom dia. Grinding allowance

Type 4- applied to lugged splined shaft centered according to minor dia. And with bottom dia. Grinding allowance
