Principle of Operation

Dry ball mill, a kind of horizontal cylinder rotation equipment based on outer gear transmission, includes into two containers as a grate energy-saving ball mill. Materials firstly enter into the first container of the dry ball mill through the feeding hallow shaft by the feeding equipment in a helical and even manner. The first container is equipped with a staged or corrugated lining board, filled with steel balls of various specifications which may be lifted to a certain height under the centrifugal force caused by the rotation of cylinder and then fall down to impact and mill raw materials. After coarse milling, raw materials will enter into the second container through the single-layer diaphragm, which is embedded with flat lining board and filled with steel balls to further mill raw materials. After that, power will be discharged from the discharging grate plate, indicating the completion of milling.
