Brief Introduction of Wood Sawdust Briquette Press :

This kind machine can take wood sawdust, rice husk, coconut shell and other biomass materials into briquettes, which can be used in boiler, heating and warming. What's more, after carbonization, the briquette will become charcoal, used in BBQ. Now this machine is very popular all over the world which will save environment and investment cost. The out diameter of finished briquettes is 50-80mm. Since now our machines have been exported to Kenya, Tanzania, Turkey, Peru and so on.

Working Principles of Wood Sawdust Briquette Press :

Briquetting is a process that biomass is compressed under high pressure and high temperature.The self bonding of biomass to form a briquette involves the thermo plastic flow of the biomass. The lignin content that occurs naturally in biomass is liberated under high pressure and temperature. Lignin serves as the glue in the briquetting process, thus binding, compressing the biomass to form into high density briquettes. During this process, no binder needs to be used. So the output briquette is a type of clean and green fuel that is ideal for use in furnaces, boilers and open fires. The density of the briquettes is 900-1400kg/m³.

Complete Production Process :

1. Crushing the raw materials into size no bigger than 5mm. (wood logs, wood branch, coconut shell, peanut shell, rice husk, sunflower husk and so on).

2. Dry the crushed materials to 8-12%.

3. Press the raw materials into biomass briquettes.

4. Make briquettes into charcoal in the carbonized oven.
