Product Introduction

The roller granulator has a wide scope of application. The granules produced by it are even in size and there is no need for further screening. The efficiency and yield are improved while the production cost is reduced. Compared with the powder material, the granules are delicious in taste, small in size and convenient in administration, storage and transportation. The roller keeps swinging under the mechanical drive to squeeze the materials out from the screen to form granules. The size of the granules is determined by the mesh number of the screen. The roller does not need disassembly while the screen is easy to be dismantled with light weight. The only part in the machine needing cleaning is the granule cavity, but it is really convenient to be washed. The granules manufactured by the machine have low particle rate. With convenient operation, simple control and long service life, the machine accords with the GMP regulations.

Functions

The fluidity of the powder is relatively inferior and splints may be produced. The weight of the tablets differs much. As a result, granules should be made before they are pressed to be tablets. Both Chinese medicine and Western medicine adopt this type of machine for granulation due to its advantages in making granules of good fluidity, even tablet weight and consistent color. The machine can produce granules from wet powder and smash the fragile, loose and crisp materials with irregular bar shapes to prepare for the further grinding. The machine is equipped with three functions: granulation, grinding and feeding, thus it can be used for different purposes.

Working Principle

The roller rotates by itself with mechanical drive and friction force, thus the powder materials are squeezed out from the screen mesh and delivered out from the machine under the forward and backward rotation of the rotating roller. The adjustment of the screen mesh and roller rotation speed can control the particle size and density of the granules to some degree.

Application Scope

The granulator produced by our plant can be used to process dissolved medicine, all kinds of feeds, chemical fertilizers and food. It is suitable for the fabrication of granules of different sizes in medical, chemical, feeding and foodstuff industries. The machine can only be applied to the production of granules instead of grinding of the solid, fluid or starch.

Machine Structure

1. The main body of the machine is an independent cuboid, composed of three parts: bearing bracket, reduction gearbox and engine base. The hopper is connected with the bearing bracket and stretches out of the machine. The front of the engine base is designed to protrude and touch the ground for the purpose of flatness and stability. Therefore, the machine needs not installation and it can be placed at any place inside the house.

2. Granulation equipment: the rotary roller is horizontally fixed below the hopper with bearing brackets at two ends. It reverses forward and backward under the driving force of gear rack. The front bearing bracket is mobile and it can be dismounted through the unscrewing of three bolts. The front bearing bracket and rotary roller can be extracted in turn. The two terminals of the rotary roller adopt symmetrical convex coupling without being restricted by the forward and backward movement. It is quite easy for dismounting.

3. Screen jacket pipe: installed on two sides of the rotary roller, made of steel pipe, with a long slot in between, two ends of the screen embedded into the slot. The turning of hand wheel will spread the screen around the external circle of the rotary roller. The inner block of the hand wheel has a ratchet to hold it, thus its tightness can be adjusted.

4. Reduction gearbox: turbine drive is adopted with speed ratio of 1:30. The gearbox can store the machine oil so that the bar, gear and turbine are well lubricated and operated without producing noise. The external side of the turbine is installed with an eccentric rod which drives the bar to move backward and forward and facilitate the movement of the gear shaft.

5. Base engine: the mounting plate of the engine is connected with the base hinge on one end and nut on the other end. When the hand wheel on the base is rotated to adjust the movement of the lead screw, the nut will drive the engine plate upward and downward so as to adjust the tightness of the triangular belt.
