Principles of Raymond Mill

After large blocks of materials are crushed to the feed size by Jaw Crusher, they are lifted to storage silo by bucket hoister, and then are conveyed to chamber of mainframe by electromagnetic vibrating feeder uniformly, and ground between the ring and roller. The airflow of blower brings the ground powder to classifier to separate; the required fineness powders are blown into the cyclonic collector with airflow for separation&collection, then becomes to be the finished product after discharged. In the working process, the blade system located at the bottom of roller has played a very important role. In the process of blades rotating with roller together, the blades shovel the materials and throw them into the chamber between roller and ring, which form the material bed. The material bed generates the extrusion force and grinds the materials into pieces by the effect of grinding roller so as to achieve the purpose of powder making.

Applications of Raymond Mill

It is widely used for in the fields of metallurgy, building materials, mining, chemical industry and so

on. The materials must be non-flammable and non-explosive materials such as: gypsum, talcum,

calcite, limestone, potassium, barite, dolomite, granite, kaoline, amargosite, medical stone, bauxite,

iron oxide red, iron ore and so on. The materials should have the hardness less than 7 in Moh's

scale and humidity less than 6 percent . The granularity of the end products can be adjusted from

613 to 440 micra(0.613-0.44 centimeters). It can meet different users' demands through the

combinedaction of analyzer and blower.
