High Gradient Permanent Magnetic Separators
High gradient permanent magnetic separators is designed for the extract of micro and fine minerals; its manufacture integrates high technologies including rare manufacture earth high intensity window-frame magnet, multi-dimension magnetic matrix, separation box discrete system, and frequency control system, etc.
Features
1. The separators adopt the rare earth high intensity window-frame magnet. The field intensity is 0.8~1.0T, the field gradient is 106. Compared with electric high intensity magnetic separator, it can provide more even and larger magnetic force.
2. There is multi-dimention magnetic matrix in the filed. The feed slurry flow is in parallel with the axial direction of matrix, which ensures the wven distribution of field intensity and field gradient and prevent from magnetic impurities and mechanical blockage.
3. The discrete separation system enable the discrete distribution of slurry in the box, the particles enter the field at equilmrium and constant velocity, therefore reducing the absorption of non-magnetic and weakly magnetic particles and ensuring the high efficient extract of micro and fine minerals.
4. The utilize of damped feed distributor, multi loop spray cleaning system and reversal rinse water discharge device ensure the high quality of magnetic and non-magnetic products, meantime ensure the cleanness of magnetic matrix after the extraction, stabilize the production index during continuous operation.
5. Compared with high intensity electromagnetic separator with the same throughput it can save the operation costs by 40~60%, lower the manufacture costs by 20~30%, improve the recovery rate of micro and fine minerals by over 10%, and the weight can be saved 1/4~1/3.

Mechanism
The stainless chamber is fixed between the magnet poles, which can hold the liquid at a certain level. With the separation disks filled with matrix entering the magnets, the slurry enters into matrix, and the particles enter the field at equilmrium and constant velocity under the damping of liquid. The non-magnetic particles are discharged, while the magnetic particles are absorbed at the matrix surface. When the magnetic minerals or particles are pinned to the matrix to the full extent, separation disks will rotate away from magnetic field. Then the rinse water will wash the magnetic particles away from matrix and discharge into the product trough, and then the cleaned matrix will rotate to the magnetic field again, repeating the separation performance. Therefore the separation of magnetic and non-magnetic particles is accomplished.
