HELIOS is the fuel production and refinery system produces hydrogen fuel from pure water. The HELIOS Fuel Generator is a proton exchange membrane (PEM) based water electrolyzer capable of producing both hydrogen and oxygen gas at pressures of up to 1100 psi. The largest unit produces hydrogen at a rate of 0-34 SLPM's (standard liters per minute).The PEM electrodes, are at the core of this unit, highly active catalytic electrode with nearly zero distance between the electrodes, which is formed by integrating composite catalyst with ion membrane with high electrolytic efficiency.The HELIOS fuel production system can easily produce fuel for multiple HALO turbine generators and even divert gas for cooking, heating, serialization, and number of other applications. Safety, reliability, maintainability and ease of operation were major design criteria in the development of the LPE system. No failure will cause a personnel hazard and in the case of a failure or anomaly that causes an unsafe condition, the unit will safely shutdown without operator action. The system provides safe and simple operation with low maintenance requirements. The main operator interface is a color graphic, touch-sensitive monitor which displays a complete animated LPE fluid schematic, which illustrates the system operation in real-time. TheHELIOS PEMHydrogen production system uses electrical charge to disassociate the hydrogen and oxygen from water fed from a reservoir or water source. The unit creates, cleans and dries the hydrogen gas for stability and safety of use of the H gas as it is needed. It can also be configured to re-route, store and maintain hydrogen and oxygen gas for other uses via a gas management system.1The system is designed as an LPG low pressure gas delivery system which will provide the fuel for heating, cooking, sterilization or for our purpose to fuel the turbine engine. The I/O boards enable the interconnection of up to 10 hydrogen generators or a combination of turbines and fuel generation products via the RS485 interface. All units can conveniently be controlled by the master unit, based on the master-slave principle.

The HELIOS PEMSeries Fuel Generator is a standalone Hydrogen fuel generator capable of providing gas for heating, cooking, sterilization, and or fueling one LPG turbine or a group of LPG turbines. A optionalhydrogen compressorcan be installed inline to increase PSI as required by larger more complex applications and/ or configurations. The HELIOS PEMfuel generators can be connected to a number of different water reservoirs and / or offer water delivery connection options depending on your needs or requirements.

PEM is Proton Exchange Membrane. Also called SPE technology ( solid polymer electrolyte). Through electrolysis,Purewater can be utilized to produce high purity hydrogen without the need to add chemicals.

Cathode reaction : 4H+ + 4e- ¨ 2H2
Anode reaction : 2H2O ¨ 4H+ + 4e- +O2

When a DC voltage greater than the decomposition voltage of water is applied to its electrodes, the PEM electrolyzer splits pure water into hydrogen and oxygen.

This machine is light, highly effective, energy saving and environment friendly. The HELIOS PEM fuel production and refinery system is capable of fueling the HALO Turbine Generator and is capable of fueling multiple turbines to expand KW output or for redundancy.Once the system is in Electrolysis mode the unit may be left unattended as its operation is fully automated.The excess fuel can also be routed for cooking, heating, sterilization, and power generation.

In the event of any stall, fluctuations in readings, or any other operational anomaly, H2 generator will both have a Email, sound and light alarm. The generator automatically stops. If the ATS and Redundancy unit is online it will shift to the secondary HALO turbine generator and can stay in service until the primary HALO Turbine is back online. The Optional PAC Controller upgrade will include Email Maintenance and Monitoring notifications can be sent to 10 key people of your choice. IP monitoring package is also available with via the internet on any computer or any smart phone. Applet for off site control and communication with HELIOS PEM electrolysis Hydrogen production Generator and Purification Unit. This PAC control system can be added on to or expanded on in the event the HELIOS Hydrogen production Generator and Purification Unit is connected to Vortex drives a HALO Turbine Power Generator or other devices (or any combination thereof).

The HELIOS Series Fuel Generator, on- site Hydrogen production/refinery system is designed as an CNG production & refinery unit (low pressure gas) delivery system that provides the fuel for the Vortex turbine engine. The Vortex Turbine's metallurgic properties have been designed to withstand the increased heat temperatures which in hydrogen fuel ignition will burn at temperatures capable of melting away ordinary metals. We have redesigned, and fortified the interior combustion tubes, chamber bearings, shafts, turbine blades and other key components utilizing super alloys and heat resistant coatings .
