Straight shank

Taper 1/4 per foot.

Applications:

1. Designed to ream holes into which standard taper pins will fit.

2. The straight flute and left-handed spiral are usually obtained if the hole to be reamed is drilled a few thousandths smaller than the small diameter of finished reamed hole.

3. High-spiral machine tapr pin reamers are designed especially for the shop producing taper pin holes by machine reaming, for which work only reamers of this type can be used profitably and economically. Chips do not pack in the flutes.
