steps

1.Put the material in.Put the material into the stove( don’t fill the stove) through the door, close the door, then seal it with mud..

2.Fire the material.Put charcoal fire of 2kg through the three lighting –up tuyeres above the stove, open the draught fan, then close the tuyeres after 5 minutes.

3.Check air leakage situation.Close the draught fan after 4 hours to check if the tuyeres air leakage, if so, take measures to prevent air leakage. Open the fan continually if the tuyeres is air tight., the heat can be felt at the upper part now.Check the air leakage every3 or 4 hours.

4.Burning time.When the heat can be felt at the bottom, and the smoke present light blue, that is to say, the coconut shells have been carbonized. Close the chimney above the machine, check the four tuyeres again, to present air leakage. The burning time is about 8-12 hours.

5.Cooling time. When the heat can’t be felt on the surface, the charcoal can be come out. The cooling time is about 24 hours, however we could pour water into the stove to help cool, the cooling time will be reduced by about 12 hours.

6.Take out the charcoal.
