1. Structural Features

1) The machine is applicable to grind straight-line edges of flat glass roughly or precisely, as well as upper and lower chamfer at once. Moreover, it can remove membrane of edge of high-quality LOW-E glass.

2) The machine has 12 grinding heads with 6 at each side, including three heads for bottom, one for membrane removal at edge, and two for upper and lower chamfer grinding respectively; lift the head manually.

3) The machine adopts PLC control and displays width and transmission speed through touch screen. Input numbers to adjust the parameters automatically.

4) Inverter drives upper and lower synchronous belt to transfer glass; speed is adjusted by inverter. Width is adjusted by double linear round rails and double ball screws. Cover of ball screw is telescopic.

5) There is positioning block in feed section to ensure correct diagonal after grinding.

6) There is fan, air knife and pipe (connected to external water supply) equipped in discharge section, which can wash surface of glass simply to reduce scratches; glass is transmitted by belt in discharge section to make the process more convenient.

7) Transmission gearbox has two gears while transmission shaft is installed in upper part to reduce corrosion. No water can enter gearbox. It is easy to change and maintain the belt.

8) Grinding motor configuration: No. 1 motor is 3KW, No.2-3 motors are 2.2KW, chamber motor is 1.5KW, and membrane removal motor is 1.5KW.

9) The base is one-piece structure. Two linear round rails and ball screws are molded in one time to enhance accuracy and service life of rail and screw, thus better ensuring accuracy and stability of processing.

10) Grinding wheel and membrane removal wheel configurations: the height of membrane removal wheel is adjusted manually and displayed by location displayer; diameter of membrane removal wheel is 200mm; the width is adjusted manually and the rotary speed is controlled by variable frequency.

11) Upper and lower synchronous belt: the width is 40mm.

12) There is not scratch on surface of LOW-E glass; the width of membrane removed ranges from 0mm to 20mm (adjusted manually); water supply for LOW-E glass can be circulated water or tap water.

13) There is lubricant pump to lubricate equipment and improve service life.

14) Circulated water tank and tray are made of stainless steel.
