The industrial by-product gypsum is a general term of the calcium sulfate as the main component of the by-products generated in the discharge of industrial production, also known as chemical gypsum, chemical gypsum, synthetic gypsum, such as phosphogypsum, desulfurization gypsum, citric acid gypsum, gypsum and so on. Direct thermal industrial by-product gypsum calcinations process researched by us is that dry and calcinations of by-product gypsum are completed within the same equipment on the one time. The semi-water gypsum content in product can reach to 80%~90%. But the traditional process such as two steps process, the first removal surface water in the drying equipment, then turn out to calcinations equipment for burning off part of crystal water. After being dried and calcined, the qualified plaster powder can be used for the production of gypsum board, cement retarder, gypsum dry mixed mortar and ceramic materials, gypsum whisker and gypsum fiber etc.

Compare to natural gypsum, industrial by-product gypsum has several characteristics as follow: 1. Uniformity quality; 2.High moisture; 3. Difficult to remove impurities.
