Rotary drum dryer or drum dryer machine is widely used in building material ,chemical industry ,cement industry to dry the slag ,limestone,coal powder ,clay ,etc.

Rotary dryer can alsobe used for drying the wet concentrate in the beneficiation plant, such as iron

concentrate, copper concentrate, and others.

Operation Principle

The raw material plate which is arranged reasonably with changeable angles in order, throws

moisture materials into the rotary cylinder. Then water will be separated from the materials by

hot airflow and changed into vapour to be discharged into the atmosphere. Then the materials

would be dried. Rotary dryer is used to dry slag, clay, limestone; It is mainly used for cement,

chemical, metallurgical, building materials industries. Its advantages are as follows: high dry

capacity, smooth rotation, and low energy consumption, easy operation, high output and so on.

Possible problems and trouble shooting

If the moisture of discharged material is too high ,you can increase the consumption quantity of fuel ,as well as decrease the quantity of feeding material .
The carrying stress of two catch wheel is two strong ,you should check the contact situation between the wheel and supporting belt .
If deivant sound appears between big and small gear ,you should check the fear backlash .
