The DS-7 DustStorm® Filter is designed for continuous operation and the round design ensures great strength combined with low weight.

Contaminated air passes into the filter through the pressure loss optimized side inlet according to the ‘partial drawdown’ principle, ensuring optimized separation of the dust particles.

DS-7 comes with an integrated JK-30MTD 4.0 kW fan all in one compact system measuring approximately øD 0.9m, height of 4.1m and weighing about 340kg only. The system also comes with a conical bottom and bucket for collection of fine dust thereafter disposed off manually.

Seven pieces of filter elements (type dependant on application) are fitted in the system with a total filter area of 49.84 m2.

DS 7 is also equipped with an Easy Cleaning (EC) come with MTS control system, using external compressed air supply of 7 bar, minimum 400 Nl/min.

EC Cleaning cleans filter units using compressed air. Four (4) filter elements are cleaned at a time by a single jet valve. The pipes are fitted with specially designed jet nozzles located precisely above each filter element. The jet nozzles provide optimal filter element cleaning.

The advantages of EC Cleaning system include:

• Manual setting of pulse and pause times
• Can be controlled either by an external pressure valve or PLC control system
• Total cleaning using a pre-determined series of discharges
• One or more cycle “final cleaning” for each shut-down to remove residual dust from the filter. “Final cleaning” starts whenever the fan stops.
