1. Introduction of XBM Magnetic Separator

1).CTB series wet drum permanent magnetic separator is usually used for sorting fine-grained magnetic minerals, or removing strong magnetic elements from non-magnetic minerals;

2). With a deep magnetic field, the machine can make a continuous row of mineral feed and discharge;

3). Megnetic Separator also has enough working clearance and high processing capacity.

2. Structures of XBM Magnetic Separator

1). CTB series wet drum permanent magnetic separator consists of magnetic drum, tank body, frame, feed box, discharge box (ore concentrate box), flushing water pipe, drive motor, gear box, control box, etc;

2).The magnetic drum is made of stainless steel (thickness: 5 mm) and covered with wear resistant rubber.

3. Applications of XBM Magnetic Separator

1). The magnetic drum is usually equipped with two kinds of tanks, which are called down current tank (CTS series) and semi-counter current tank (CTB series);

2). CTB series down current tank is applicable to rougher flotation and concentration of minerals with size: 0~10 mm;

3). CTB series semi-counter current tank is applicable to rougher flotation and concentration of minerals with size: 0~1 mm.

4. Working principles of XBM Magnetic Separator

1). When flotation machine works, slurry is inhaled from the bottom of the trough to the space between impellers;

2). The low pressure air send by fan is sent to this area through the air distributor in the hollow shaft;

3). After sufficient mixing, the slurry is pushed out by the impeller, and then goes to the whole trough;

4). When the froth rises to the stable level, after the enrichment processing, froth overflows to the froth trough from the overflow weir, another part of ore slurry flows to lower part of impeller for the remis with air;

5). The remained slurry flows to the next trough until becomes residue.

5. Features of XBM Magnetic Separator

1) Wet drum magnets have high magnetic recovery and discharge;

2) The feed slurries recover the magnetic;

3) It is available in single or multiple drum applications;

4) Recover magnetic solids in as clean as a magnetic concentrate;

5) Permanent magnet assembly eliminates coil burn-outs;

6) The magnet/pole elements are bolted to a mild steel shaft;

7) The drum is made from thick stainless steel for long service life;

8) Wet drum separators are available in different configuration like single drum, double drum and multiple drum;

9).In double drum two separators are arranged back to back with a common feed back.
