1.Introduction

Drum dryer(flaker) is used to transform viscous (molten) product into solid. The process that takes place is vaporization(solidification). Feeding material in the pan will be attached on the external wall of drum bottom. During the rotation of drum, product will be dried (cooled), then scraped off the drum surface in the form of a film or pellet. Outlet screw conveyor and frequency inventer is optional.

Drum dryer(flaker) is made up of drum, scrape knives, heating(cooling) unit(rotary joint, siphon tube), feeding pan, protection guards, driving unit, steel frame etc.
